Mobile Privacy and Security for an Ageing Population:

Workshop at MobileHCI 2018: September 3 Barcelona, Spain

**Proceedings of the workshop including papers submitted and summary from the discussions now available**

Adoption rates for mobile devices amongst the ageing population continues to rise rapidly. As people age, there are changes in their privacy and security needs and behaviours which deserve consideration. This workshop aims to identify key privacy and security challenges on mobile devices as people age, and address how to resolve these issues in an inclusive manner. It addresses mobile technologies beyond smartphones and tablets to include wearables and IoT. Through a number of activies, participants will work towards understanding the interplay between ageing and privacy/security issues with the aim of informing future research and design in the increasingly ubiquitous mobile landscape.

This workshop is supported by the Cybersecurity Across the Lifespan (cSALSA) project. For more information about cSALSA please go to the project website.
